Guide
Whose turn is it? A tracker for household chores that take turns.
When the main question is whose turn it is, the useful answer should also explain who did the task last and how the turn changes after completion.
The turn is only part of the answer
Knowing who is next is useful, but households also need context. If someone else completed the task, the shared record should reflect that rather than silently advancing the wrong person.
Done When keeps the current queue together with the actual completion history.
What happens when somebody steps in
For Rotation tasks, any active participant can mark the task done. The actual completer moves to the end of the queue, while the people who did not do the task keep their relative order.
This means the next turn is derived from the work that really happened.
When you do not need a turn tracker
Some chores are better as Assigned tasks with one stable responsible person. Others are best left open to Anyone. A useful household app should let the responsibility model match the task instead of forcing every chore into one system.
